Westhell 5 is a band playing UNDERcover.
West Hell 5 was founded in 2007 and gets it's inspiration from old spy-fi & crime-soundtracks, 60's groove jazz, Vegas Grind and early rhythm 'n blues. This results in what they call "Mod & Crime", featuring hot sax, eerie theremin, wailin' organ, beatin' drums, fat bass and groovin' guitar..
In 2009, WestHell 5 released their 1st album called "The Mod Jazz Affair" and 2012 saw the release of their 11-track album "UNDERCOVER" (LP/CD) on Hippo Records.

West Hell 5 werd in 2007 opgericht en haalt zijn inspiratie uit oude spy-fi -en crime soundtracks, 60's groove jazz, Vegas Grind en vroege rhythm 'n blues. Dit resulteert in wat ze zelf "Mod & Crime" noemen, met dampende sax, spokende theremin, scheurend orgel, snijdend slagwerk, vette bas en groovend gitaarspel.
WestHell 5 bracht in 2009 onder eigen beheer het 1e album "The Mod Jazz Affair" uit en in 2012 is het 11-track album "UNDERCOVER" (LP/CD) gereleased op Hippo Records.
